Pumping life into point of sale ideas
When leading audio brand Beats by Dr. Dre was planning to launch its new ‘Mini Pill’ speaker it had a clear vision of how it could be showcased in store using display units that would communicate the brand’s high end appeal.
The units would also need to meet global power and compliance requirements and be suitable for distribution around the world.
The customer provided a basic concept sketch and using our experience of global retail environments, we guided them through the production process from beginning to end - turning their ideas into reality.
We designed, prototyped and manufactured a stylish, fashionable POS display unit with soft touch black satin finish that exudes the Beats by Dr Dre brand personality. It includes bespoke lighting, illuminated logo and graphic panel with integrated MP3 player (with pre-set playlist) so the consumer can experience the product for themselves in store, significantly increasing consumer engagement with the brand’s key demographic.
A security clamp was incorporated into the display unit’s design to hold this high value, theft attractive product securely in place.
The project was completed against tight deadlines and the units were distributed to 5,000 stores worldwide.
Fastrak hit the right note with counter top display. In-built an electonic interactive MP3 music player and speaker system allows potential customers to experience the power of Beats first hand. The strong illumination not only visual elevates the product and written information but quite literally floats the speaker on light.
