In-store presence re-energised across the UK
When Camelot UK Lotteries Ltd rebranded its National Lottery offering, it needed to update the iconic Play-Stations already in situ in 38,000 retail outlets across the UK. The rollout needed to happen rapidly and consistently.
Specialist in lottery retail point of sale (POS) units, and having partnered with Camelot on the original Play-Station roll out, we got to work designing, prototyping, manufacturing and assembling the components for 38,000 dress up kits. The kits facilitated the rebranding exercise in several ways including; the inclusion of the new ‘fingers crossed’ logo, the addition of white panels to the side of the Play-station and replacing the content in the tax disc (top left).
The project involved a range of manufacturing processes which were all undertaken in-house and our flexible production capacity meant we were able to set up a bespoke production line to deliver this large-scale order within budget, against challenging deadlines.
Fastrak managed the project from beginning to end including kit installation in store. We also delivered 38,000 poster frames, LED screens and ensured all external signage requirements were met.
The overall effect is a cleaner, bolder presence for National Lottery draw based games in line with its refreshed brand guidelines.
The National Lottery has an incredible presence within the UK retail marketplace and Fastrak Retail were chosen to manufacture and implement new products and rebranded elements throughout the United Kingdom.
